indeed. they split their army in 2, one went to besiege Quebec city and the other went around a longer path to surround them and make a surprise attack. however it came late and the battle happened before the second army arrives, so the first american army was routed and the other retreated in US.
they had tryed to rally the canadian french populace to the revolution's cause but we decided to remain neutral because due to the revolution Britain gave us far greater rights than right after the conquest, they wanted us to stay on their side. if we had joined America but failed we would have lost all these rights for nothing
After about three years of virtually no contact (he moved somewhere else), I saw one of my friends working at this store; he called me later that day and said we should go see some people during the next weekend.
I admit, it was a bit awkward at first, but I'll see how it goes.
Just go have fun if you meet someone special then bonus wooohoo great! But i find going searching for love is a bit.... not really right.. it just happens more naturally... i guess. Thats how i see it anyway. Ive been talking to the girl i like quite a lot today, its all goood. She made some jokes about me stalking her because we started seeing each other everywhere then i turned it around and said nooo its you who must be stalking me and she said yes you love it really, and i was like so do you. We both laughed haha, that wasnt long ago!
It was funny, it doesnt really mean anything but good times nevertheless :P
Haha you... wait has anyone seen that movie? Paranormal Activity. My firend said its better then The Fourth Kind but it sucks Uranus. The first half of it is two ***holes who are the main characters talking then one night their bedroom door swings a bit. Then they call a 'psychic' who talks to them then says he must go. It only gets good after about an hour of it something interesting finally happens and the main girl gets dragged out of her bed by a demon. Then it bites her and lets her go. Then she goes insane and wants to stay at the house. That night she... well, I wont spoil the ending for you.
Yes I saw it with Georgia but not at the movies cause its not at the movies any more.
I've been trying with one for a week. Well, I went on a cultural exchange with Germany, and there I knew this girl. No, she ain't German, just I didn't know her before that. For a series of coincidences, I spent most of the evenings with her at some pub drinking beer, so we started talking. One of those evenings, we were alone (well, with our two german guys, but they talked among them so it was as if we were alone), so we talked really much. She gave me her number. Without really wanting to, I also "covertly" stated she was pretty. It went like this: we were talking about awkward and bad stuff, so she proposed to talk about prettier stuff. I said, "you". She didn't understand, so I said "because you're pretty". And she started talking about her. The following day, though, she was always staying with her friend. As we had some free time in Regensburg, I proposed to go shopping, but she wanted her friend to come, too. We didn't really go. That evening, well, that was the last evening of the exchange and we were at a restaurant for a goodbye dinner. I tried to strike up, but every conversation I started wouldn't last long. The following day we went back to our city by bus. She didn't even want me to sit by her, despite having agreed to it the preceding evening. Yesterday it was a festive day in italy, so I invited her to the piazza, but she said she was busy.
I miss MSN. Too many people don't use it anymore, so I don't either.
By the way, can someone teach me how to use the word "nor" ? I have a sort of exam on that word this week. I tried to find some tutorials, but they are ****ty and I really need to talk to someone.
