Halo Wars wasnt so upto caliber as the other halo's, and ODST just sucked I hear. Reach you play as a spartan again though, (thankully) although not John 117, Master Chief. For those that dont know, Halo Reach is the beginning of th series, as the alien race known as the covenant come into contact with humans and then go into war trying to wipe them out. Reach is the main military planet of the humans, that is the most devastating loss when the covenant glass the planet.

This game looks orgasmic, I have to play it. I seriously need to get an xbox and all thrree halo games, I havent even played halo 3. I am such a halo fanboy, insult me for it if you will, but it is so outrageously awesome.

Elites arent that hard to kill, I find that they stop shooting you if you are shooting them, and meelee really hurt them. Brutes now, those are tough SOB's, I mean, I am seriously a pro at halo, I kick ass, but even Brutes scare me if I have to fight one, just dont get close I say. Snipe em if you can.

Hunters now though, those are some great fun, really easy to dodge their attacks, I kinda play with them, its fun to wrestle with hunters, I always win.

By a moral rule, I never use energy swords, grav hammers, or explosive weapons that kill in few hits. I find it makes it too easy and feels noobish. I never use vehicles either. Pistol and AR from H1 is all I need. Ok heres a good story. Last night I was playin H1 multi, and I was by myself on my team against two people that were horribly completely vehicle noobs, kept using shees and tanks, and they never were able to get my flag, I kept killing them out of BANSHEES and Scorpian tanks, from on foot. WIth AR, and pistol.

It's not that different. All the originality that made halo 1 and 2 great is gone. It's just a dew new weapons and a graphical overhaul

That reminds me when i was playing halo 3 with my friend and he was bout to run over me in his warthog and i smash my grav hammer and he goes flying over me and over the edge of the cliff :DDD Good times, good times...

Well for me, thats content. The origianality of halo 1 n 2 is so much that it can carry through the multiple games and never get old. New storylines, vehicles, weapons, and enemies just give you enough to be satisfied.

Have you played halo Kara?

What vehicle though, and is is attacking you at the time?

Ok, I can take out any vehicle, ghosts are harder due to manuverability but I still can. With the Halo 2 Pistol.

No jk, the H2 pistol is gayass suck, couldnt kill a grunt.

+ grunt = instakill

In halo 3 a charged plasma pistol short-circuts engines in any vehicle, apart from scarabs. Just pick the best time/location to shoot and they end up dead themselves, fallin off a cliff ect. or just have a handy sword as ur second weapon the charge in & slaughter to ur hearts content

I bet even a meelee with the H2 pistol wouldnt kill a grunt. Seriously, you take it by itself or compare it to its H1 counterpart, it is soooo bad.

Plasma swords are fun...
Jumping down on someone like "KIIIIYYYAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and slicing their face in half is great!
Halo 1 was undoubtably the best, it was the first game in which the player could only hold 2 weapons at once, which made it strategic, mixing short and long range weapons or a great all round like the pistol (prob best gun in the game) with whichever combo you want.
Never really played halo 2, i remember i tried so many times but every single time i got to the level with the really really long bridge and just get SO so so bored that i turn it off or start fooling around with my friend (Never played it alone, always round a friends house).
I havent played Halo 3 since christmas, when my cousin came round last, hes round now so we go on it now and then, fun game but the maps are boring as hell in my opinion, all the guns feel cheap and those wierd power up things that you throw by pressing X is just a crappy gimmick and doesnt really effect the game.

Couldnt really be bothered with the halo storyline, it seems pretty good, but without halo 2 i have no idea whats happening by the time 3 comes along so i just stop listening.

Yeah, I want an xbox so I can get the halo trilogy, then maybe odst, but definately reach.

Reach though I would much like to play, cause you play as a different spartan than Master Chief so I't ll prob. be a different experience.

The weapons arent anything special, although they are more creative than the ones introduced in halo 3 (i hated how people were so excited to pick up turrets)

the storyline is irrelevant, halo is and always has been a multiplayer game

Changing the main character is never a good idea. It rarely makes a difference but it feels less entertaining for some reason.

Actually, one was stuck in space, one killed in a space battle, and like half of the original team left on the planet and defenceless when the covenant glassed reach.

I read the books, so it makes alot more sense to me. The books are damn good, probably reinforce my like for halo's story.
