Ok this cant be coincidence. In indiana jones and the raiders of the lost ark, he is searching for the ark of the covenant. Halo 3's storyline is searching for the Ark, ..of the Covenant. Forerunners actually but its basically covenant. Um has anyone else noticed this? Whats up with the storyline ripoff here?
Nononono me and a group of friends actually saw UFO's once it was great! It was a while ago, a year+ so ill try to recall it as best i can..
It was like half 9 or 10 pm and it was really dark, we were in a park in town which was next to this car park where everyone skateboards, there was nobody around and the place was amazingly quiet, and for some reason we were shaking a tree, ok, theres a tree in the park which when you grab tightly and pull really hard towards you, it feels like the tree has a burst of energy flying through it, im not sure how to describe it... Uhhh, you know when you take a blanket, lay it on the ground and flick it, so that its a kind of wave flowing along the blanket? Its exactly like that but its a tree!!! How cool is that??! :P Well, we were playing with that for ages and someone goes "OMG whats that!!!?" and points up at the sky, theres nothing there. We're like "Dude, what?" he was like "WHAT!!! It disappeared when you looked!!" and the rest of us were just like "Your trippin man hahahaha" and go back to our tree.
About 10 seconds later the dude says "HEY LOOK!!! Theres another one!!! See, im not tripping its actually there!" We look up and theres basically a flame in the sky. Like, a flame thats floating through the sky. Slowly. It had a kind of faint circle around it (Believe me it was NOT a hot air ballon, they dont fly at night) we were just staring at it like "Ooooooo its pretty...." and just laughing so so so much because it was UFOs, remember that doesnt just mean flying saucer its anything thats flying and you have no idea what it could be. We exausted every possibility for what it could have been, and about 10 seconds after seeing that one, we looked a bit more and the one that my friend had seen earlier was there as well, so it had disappeared for a little while and reappeared (Not a single cloud in the sky).
And soon more came, there was about 8-10 that we managed to see, they were floating around as if they were independant but all heading in the same direction which wasnt with the wind, it was like sideways or facing the wind, i remember because we laughed about "Are they going with the wind?" "No the winds blowing a different direction".
So yeah, that was one of the funniest things ever :P Great stuff hahahaha. Oh and it might have been a trip, we all had the same trip maybe... Hehehe doubt it hah.

Not really... Forerunners reached tier 1 technology, the only species to do so(besides precursors, whom reched tier 0 which enabled intergalactic travel), the forerunners were great architects and pure genius's.
Halo 3's ending(when completed on legendary) shows Master Chief and Cortana on half of the ship floating into the gravity of an unknown planet. This is supposedly a forerunner shield world(made to allow any creatures on it to survive the pulse from one of the halo rings) or a forerunner colony. Either one would make for an extremely interesting story for a halo 4. :p
I never listened to any of the Halo storyline, i think i did for a bit of halo 1 and then just started going I DONT CARE WHY IM KILLING THESE ALIENS BLASTY BLASTY!!!! But it sounds interesting when you guys talk about it like this haha, i normally hold onto every word in every games storyline, just not halo really haha.
Ohh and we can figure out how to make a game!!!! Its easy just uhmhmm.... Google it.
I tried spore trial version, cause theres all the hype about it and I wanted to see.
Its pretty amazing, infinite possibilities with the creature creator, and all the imagination. The thing is that with me thats a bad thing, its too complicated, I could sit down and take hours, no days, to just make creatures. And I cant be assed to go buy it.

*Facepalm* It is not the covenants. The Ark is known as installation 00, it is the thing that made the 7 other Halo Rings. The ark can be used to remotely activate all the installations systems at the same time. It is a Forerunner artifact.
Game maker is one of the most godawful pieces of poop ever to desecrate this planet. But thats only when im trying to use it, things like that dont agree with me.
