Nice that your thinking about it. I prefer just the normal thing you did the first itme. Simple is best. People dont have to think hard and will play more.
Rookie: 1 Life, no Allies. But you win if you survive past 3 deaths
Mutant: Damages .33 at 3 lives, 1 at 2 lives, and 1.66 at 1 life
Shade: 1 life, 25% chance of ressurecting self upon death for each remaining bullet. Not cumulative
Bounty Hunter: Shots reduce the target's evasion rate by 15% regardless of whether it hit.
Nightmare: Can reduce a player's evasion down to 0% if that player evades (unprotected)
Ditto: Free to switch between classes at the expense of an unprotected action. Lives are transferred proportionately rounded down. (yes, the pokemon)
Golem: Double lives at the expense of a lower evasion rate (+- 22%)
Cannibal: Heals .33 for every sucessful shot but loses .33 every 3 turns without one.
Biochemist: So long as no one is poisoned at the moment, shots inflict poison. Poison deals .33 every turn a the end of the turn. Passed on by shooting another sucessfully.
Savior: Can sacrifice self to boost ally life by 3, bullets by 3, and evasion to 100%
Commando: 6 lives and 2 bullets to start. No allies.

Lightning Mage: For 3 bullets can fire chain lightning. Lightning deals 1 damage to each target, and scrolls through the player's list of targets until one misses.
Droideka: Very weak evasion (-40% +15%) but dodged bullets reflect at attacker.
Ghost: Perfect Evasion. Never hits evading opponent.
Squirtle: .66 attack. But every three damage dealt earns .66 more attack and .66 more health.
Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde: 50/50 chance Dr. Jekyll starts a turn with Double or nothing attack. If he chooses to do so.
Naruto: 3 Bullets=1 clone. Clones get .33 life and no bullets to start. (for jack ;)

I'm going to have players sign up first, and then pick in secret, in the order they signed up. I want to encourage diplomacy, but I don't want players teaming up in advance and choosing complimentary roles.
Any other dof obsessions I should add?

Sith: Lightning attack same as lightning mage (?turn recharge). Jedi redirected attack has no effect against Sith.
Cryptosporidium 246: Has Shield(25% chance to block damage/blocks 10% of all damage ect.) Can Gene Splice others (50% chance to get random ability from selected class[recharge ?turns]).
Altair: Has spys evade rate. 25% chance per successful attack of critical strike (1.33 dmg).
Evil Genius: Uses Generic Evil Super Weapon which has a random effect: 1=Flamethrower: Burns .33 dmg per turn for 3 turns. 2=Shrink Ray: Target may only evade for next turn. 3=Mind Wipe: Target has 25% chance of being hit by each players' attack. 4=Death Ray: 1.33 dmg with 50% chance to reduce the target to .33 health. 5=Malfunction: Weapon either explodes, catches fire or freezes. (Player misses next turn fixing gun + 0-1 dmg)
Dalek: No alliances. Has shield (see crypto) but can't evade. 1 dmg. 25% per attack against Dalek of being hit in eye. When hit in eye misses next turn.
I don't want the Sith only because I don't want specific roles to work together
I dont know what a cryptosporidium is but I like the genesplice idea.
I like Altair, but i was already putting him in. The critical hit is a good idea, which I'll use...
Evil Genious, well I like the individual powers but not all for one person. That being said a flame thrower was something I wanted to put in and now have an idea slightly skewed from yours.
Shrink Ray: I like it. Sounds good.
Mind Ray: Ooh, really like this one, gonna skew it a bit though.
Death Ray: eh... Sort of overpowered
Dalek, I don't know who that is, but his powers are all negative :P

Id post pics but ive only got the slow-arse wireless connection at the moment so ill just explain...
Cryptosporidium is an alien invader from the game Destroy All Humans A Dalek is an evil alien from the show Doctor Who. With the Dalek i was kinda meaning its attack to be really high... I meant 1dmg as in 1.0 dmg... that's high in ur game right?
Elite: 1dmg melee attack. Can block other melee attacks (25% chance).
Flood: Controls 3 flood as one character. 1 health per flood. .33dmg melee attack. Can't evade. Can jump once per turn (can't be hit while jumping but can only reload next turn[?])
Gandalf: Can blind enemies (attacks against gandalf 25% chance to hit) once every 3 turns. Once every 5 turns can use Earthquake spell (50% chance of hitting each player for .33-1.33 dmg)
Ra: Has Flame spell(see flamethrower[2turn recharge]) and blind spell (see gandalf[1 turn recharge]). 5 lives. Too godly to use any attacks other then spells. Fire Wall replaces evade (melee attackers lose are lightly burned[-.33 health every 2 turns for 4 turns] ranged attacks hit with 50% chance).
Lepricaun: Can use pot of gold to try to make alliance (25% chance of failure). Pesters enemies instead of attacking (enemies can't reload or evade while pestered and have only 50% chance of hitting enemies).
Mind Flayer: Can use Mind Control (plays turn through target) once every 2 turns. Every successful hit against enemies leaves them dazed (samed as pester) for a turn.
