I had just started watching the new episode of My Little Pony this morning when I realized I had left my alarm on upstairs in my room.  I didn't want to wake everyone up, so I ran upstairs to turn my alarm off, then ran back down to watch the show.  On my way back to the tv, I bashed my left foot against a doorframe or something.  I immediately knew it wasn't a minor injury due to the fact my little toe was bent in a very unnatural angle.  I thought it was dislocated, but when I went to the urgent care clinic and got an x-ray, I found out it was bent that way because it was broken.

Fortunately, all I have to do to treat it is to tape it to the toe next to it and wear a special shoe.  I don't need a brace or crutches or anything like that.  It should be fully healed in six weeks.

Naw, I didn't draw it. It's fanart from the game Story of the Blanks, just like my last profile picture.  I probably got it from Equestria Daily or Deviant Art, but I can't remember.  I've downloaded WAY too many pony images to remember where each one came from.

On the note of drawing, however, I'm going to start giving that a try.  I've always had a general talent for art, but never really developed it much aside from a few art classes in high school.  I'm going to buy photoshop, sign up for an art class or two next semester, and give it a go.

Ah that hurts like hell. I've stubbed my toe a lot and I think I sprained it one time. I know how it feels.

 

One trick I learned is when something hurts a lot, focus on the center of pain, focus on the spot where it is hurting the most, and just think about that spot and the feeling of the pain, and it will hurt less.

@ Winston: It actually doesn't hurt much. It hurt a fair bit when it happened, but even then it didn't feel really horrible or anything like that. I guess that even though I broke the bone, I didn't hurt the nerve much.

@ Euroqueb: I see, and according to that person's post it's from drawfriend #240 on Equestria Daily. I just knew it was from either Equestria Daily or Deviant Art. Equestria Daily got it from Deviant Art, though, so it's technically from both I guess?

Just got my toe checked again today, and it appears to be healing well. Should be another three weeks before it is healed and I can run again.

Forgot to mention it, I but got my toe checked for the last time a week ago, and everything shoud be fine. I'm wearing two regular shoes now, and will resume running tomorrow.
