We have roughly 3 months of holidays every year because we're cool. Or because it's too hot for us to stay concerned at school. Or just because the law says so. Although we get fewer days of vacation from September to June.
Starting around August 15th would be terrible here. It's about 30°C around that date here, if not more. In August 2003, where I live, we had a record of about 42°C. How can we stay at school with such a hot weather?
We have a maximum of 165 days of vacation per year. And the difference between hot and cold weather is that cold one can be taken care of with a heating system, while hot one needs a cooling system. Schools in Italy don't have a cooling system.
Yeah, same here, which is funny because I've noticed that every year we're getting longer periods of snow. This year, in February, we lost 2 weeks and 3 days of school IIRC, while last year we only lost 1 week at most.
There's no trace of them in the archives, nor is there any trace of the threads that were in them. Aww, I think I had a nice thread in triggering, though I can't remember what it was about, nor if it was actually there or I'm confusing it with the one in the mafia forum...
