Completely unrelated and off topic, but I am going to see the Bronies documentary this saturday during the Kansas City FilmFest.  What makes this particularly awesome, is that Lauren Faust is going to be there!  Both at a pizza/muffin party before the screening, and at a panel during it!  It will be awesome.  Maybe I'll even get to meet her in person?

 

Also, once again unrelated, here is a recent pic of me:

Nice, have fun. I met Faust at Bronycon. Heck, you might see me in the movie :p

I'll be the one clutching dearly to the gal with... I think bright green hair. Can't remember what she had exactly back then.

We were front row on the far side for most panels. I had a Rainbow Dash Dark Side of the Moon/Derpy shirt depending on the day. I can't remember what kara wore.

I went to the Bronies screening yesterday, and it was pretty good! They even handed out free copies of the dvd/blu-ray to those who attended the pizza party before the screening. Unfortunately, they didn't have muffins at the party because the venue wouldn't provide them. What was much more unfortunate, though, was that Lauren Faust was unable to attend because she was sick cry.  Fortunately, we were still able to see her through skype.  I got to talk to her for like a minute or so, and that was pretty cool.  She had also recorded an apology message which was shown after the screening.  I hope someone recorded it, because she made some funny faces at the beginning.  Even though Lauren wasn't there, Michael Brockhoff still was, and he was pretty cool.   All in all, even though Lauren couldn't make it, it was still a great experience.

 

@Thymole:

I couldn't find you or Kara in it, but there were quite a few shots where the camera panned over the large crowds at Bronycon, so the two of you were probably in there somewhere
